Oh @Hmc63 the crystals sound so beautiful and also relaxing too.
I am glad you have gone back to your yoga, I am a Pilates girl myself.
It is my time to concentrate on myself.
I am very impressed by your decluttering, you are putting me to shame.
I am sure the animal rescue centre were really pleased with your pristine sewing machine for their summer raffle.
Look after your self and keep achieving.
Really great that you have started up your yoga. Iāve started my early morning swimming again and Iām really enjoying it. Although not so much the early mornings!
Itās sounds like youāre taking some really positive steps in doing the things you enjoy. @Erica, definitely time to concentrate on yourself! X

Good positive news!!! Lucky you for you with your blood test. I know others have been cancelled!
Hi @Hmc63, itās worth asking at your surgery whether you can have your blood tests, you never know, donāt forget the pleasantly assertive approach.
Please let us know how you get on.
I hope this is of Interest to conversation,
Was not sure to post it here or as separate topic
Hi @anon06 thanks for this, I have actually posted a specific new post on this topic.

Hi @Hmc63, with going out I think it is about taking small steps that you are comfortable with and you are doing really well.
Good news with your platelets and that chemo medication has been reduced.
Lets hope that your angiogram is as a day patient and letās hope you are able to get you 2nd Pfizer vaccine, although I know that will be scary for you, however we are here for you.
Look after yourself and keep posting.
Would t it be great if you could get your second jab! I still find busy and big shops a challenge, itās all very daunting! Please let us know how you go at your appointment next week
I think Iāve given up on people wearing masks in shops, restaurants or pubs but public transport is a bit of a worry. Almost nobody on my buses or trains wears masks any more, but I can hardly hold it against them because theyāve been told that itās optional now. The confusion and short sightedness of this is staggering
Generally speaking people donāt care unless they are affected themselves. Masks have long been abandoned in my local supermarket by both staff and shoppers. Then we had a few positive tests and one lady had to go to hospital suddenly all change even the youngest staff back to diligent mask wearing and the guy by the door asking shoppers if they would mind wearing a mask. A suprising number he said whipped an unused mask out of their pocket/bag and only a few few told him to p** off he said. Mind you despite our rural location we have been having a bit of a spike here courtesy of a local landowner running a huge event and the local grammar school having such a wide catchment area.
As many have expressed the view that sensible precautions have been discarded in place of freedom to do as they wish and with no regard for those like us who have to ensure we stay safe. Having followed the data since March this year one thing that is clear, 10% of the population has no intention of getting a Covid jab as they perceive they are not at risk. If however the government had brought in Covid passports we would have probably have seeing the number choosing not to get a jab to be around 1% but since freedom is more important than eradicating the risk of Covid then that wonāt change. Whilst the government has no wish to bring back face masks and social distancing coupled with covid passports we have no hope of achieving the end goal - case rates measured in low thousands; people in hospital of 1,000 or less; deaths measured in single digits - like we were on June 1st this year.
So until there is a change of strategy I donāt see the data getting any better anytime soon.
