MGUS symptoms

Hi i was doagnosed with monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS) a good while ago.
I was wondering if anyone else with monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS) gets recurring chest infections .
This is my third one this year .
I have accidentally scalded myself with boiling water …on each occasion the burn has turned septic .
I know have a nasty skin infection and i have no idea what has caused it .
Its only one side of my chest .
Im forever getting chest infections .
I get tingling in my hands and feet .
Anyone else on here going through the same thing .

Hi @Lynn1 I hope someone will be able to share their experiences
However I think it might be worth writing down all your symptoms as they might be or not be related to your monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS) apart from the fact that your immune system is compromised.
We are really very complex beings.
Then see your GP or specialist nurse or consultant and talk it though
Please do let us know how you get on and really look after yourself, you really seem to be going through it at the moment

Hi @Lynn1,

@Erica is right that your symptoms could be caused by something other than monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS). I know some monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS) sufferers do get pins and needles. I do, but I have a lot MSK problems so that in my case it is more likely MSK in origin rather than the monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS). It might be a good idea to discuss your problems with your GP as a starting point.

Best wishes
Helen
