Hi, sorry for the delay.
Well, I’m afraid I still know nothing at all.
Heamotology say its boarderline and all they will do is monitor bloods every six months.
They aren’t concerned. Say when its 10 or above, then they will do more.
I have stopped thinking about it, feel well and no symptoms or anything so just living. thanks for asking xx

Hi @Txurnin it sounds to me that you have been put on what we call watch and wait (or active monitoring)
I have been on that regime for 19 yrs.
I copy a link from the Blood Cancer UK website for you
Watch and wait | Blood Cancer UK
Yes, good philosophy to stop thinking about it, as you say you feel well and have no symptoms, go and grab life by the horns and enjoy.
Be kind to yourself

Hi Erica,

Honestly I have no clue.
Not visited heamotology, my GP sent for advice and guide and heamo wrote back saying I have borederline lymphoytosis that has been stable over months. “Id suggest repeating in 4 to 6 months. If >10 refer.” He also said can refer now if im worried but nothing needed only repeat bloods at this stage. No other tests so no diagnosis. Blood film was done and shows reactive lymphoytes are present and crp shows inflammation. So, yeah. Not been told Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) and wont be tested properly until its above 10 anyways. I have 6 months blood tests for other reasons like diabetic tests and my cbc and lft are done at same time so we will shall see. X

Hi @Txurnino Perhaps this is a response that in this day and age I would expect.
I have Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) and I am also on ‘watch and wait’ (active monitoring) and a few years back I was referred back to my GP’s care with the proviso that I could be referred straight back if there were concerns. I felt abandoned and a fraud etc, etc.
However it has worked well for me as my GP is local and wonderful.
Yes, I still get anxious after 20 yrs before and during all tests, results and appointments.
Just look after yourself, be kind to yourself, live life and we are always around if you need us.

Hi @Erica and all who have offered their advice.
I want to thank you so much for being here for me.
Recently I have had some blood test results come back within completely normal rage.
Not high in the slightest. All my blood work is now fine. Still nobody knows what was the issue, but save to say whatever was the issue is now clear and my bloods are withing ‘normal’.

Thank you again, everyone.
Wishing you all a great 2024
