We used to sing this in English class, we were not meant to, just a flash mob thing before flash mobs were invented, one of the lads spotted a dodgy alarm light that used to come on in the prefab units when the central doors were opened, the rest is pop history

It could be as simple as telling someone about the latest song or album
It could be making reference to a song a person does not know the title to, but knows a lyric so another person could help them.
As a topic to suggest dream duets may be popular.
