Afternoon- morning if tomorrow’s.
Hi @Kevin1, I hope I am answering your question correctly. I am on watch and wait (active monitoring) and my blood test results that are always abnormal are always highlighted as such as they are outside the ‘normal’ ranges stated.
Please tell us if this is not the point you werevasking.
It is now time to say ‘Goodnight and sleep tight’
I have this also but I think because lots of different people can analyse and see your results as in gps, consultants etc it’s default that levels outside of ranges are highlighted as abnormal but saying it’s as expected, I take this is as that it’s to be expected with you and that your medical team are aware of this so not to start a new chain of reactions.
I think blood tests that are abnormal are marked as expected or acceptable if that patients condition is known and they are under a consultant. I know now I’m under a haematologist my blood test results for MGUS will not go to my GP surgery, if for any reason these tests are requested by a GP for another reason my GP will mark them as acceptable so another Doctor does not see them and think I need a referral. Hope that makes sense.
