Diagnosed with lung abscess and was in hospital took nearly 9 weeks worth of antibiotics to clear it and discharged. They checked bloods for HIV etc etc
All the way through and 9 weeks after i feel worse then i did before!
Had private MRI showed - lower lobe opacification
Had private bloods randoz health - antistreptolysin o (aso) high 321 only thing that flagged
Cancer runs in the family lost mum at 55 tunning out of things ro check!!

I am a bit confused, have you actually been diagnosed with a blood cancer at this point?
I think you really need to ask your medical team that has been treating you and ordering tests for their conclusions or way forward as they know you and your whole medical history.

It is understandable that you will be concerned about any cancer when and indeed the route cause of your lung issues.
May i ask, have you been able to talk to your private medical team about your recent Antistreptolysin results?
Have they been able to explain what your raised result may mean for you?
We do understand that a raised result may indicate a recent Strep infection and can after treatment take some time to normalise again.
Has your team offered any next steps for you or a respiratory referral back to talk with a specialist?
