Hi @jamesjoyce01 I am so useless, I am a trial and error person and if it works I cannot remember what I have done.
Thanks @Jilly20 for hopefully saving the day.
Please let us know how you get on @jamesjoyce01 .

Hi @jamesjoyce01, the JCVI advice is that adults and children aged 12 and over who are severely immunosuppressed should have three primary doses of the covid vaccine, followed by a booster dose (a fourth dose). You might find this page useful to read through - How to book a covid vaccine if you have blood cancer | Blood Cancer UK but as always, we’re only at the end of the phone or email.

I have just clicked on the link given above by @Jilly20 to look for somewhere to get my booster. No where on any of the places given for my postcode does it say anything like 4th dose/booster for immunosuppressed. The only thing that comes up here and there is 3rd primary dose. Is this where you go or should I widen my search?

Luckily my GP practice sorted out the shambles of the third dose and were on the ball for my fourth dose which happened quickly and efficiently. I hope the rest of you manage to get this sorted for yourselves.

If you google the walk in centre you have found near you, it will have its own webpage and they tend to list all the vaccines they are giving out - I think most are doing boosters/fourth it’s just annoying it can’t be booked

I got mine today at a walk in centre. Was quick and easy. Just took my third jab letter. Good luck x

Thank you @Jilly20 but it is still impossible to make head nor tail of it. I feel like just not bothering. It shouldn’t be this complicated!….thank you for bothering to reply…

I think I am just fed up with having to fight every step of the way and I certainly don’t want to go and line up with who knows who, for ages, just to get turned away.

I was ready for it to be like that and was ready for a stand off - I was pleasantly surprised as it hasn’t always been that way. Just lucky today!
I searched for closest walk in centre that said they did boosters. Did you receive a letter regarding your third vaccine?

Nichola75 Yes and I still have it…I thought it might be gold dust!

They asked to see mine at the vaccine centre and that was enough evidence for them :+1:

I don’t have the letter, or the PCR test kit
My consultant says is should come from my doctor, and my doctor says it should come from my consultant …they both agree I should have it, but neither take responsibility (they are different clinical commissioning groups - so I think I fall down a hole)

same old same old,
I will be blagging my way into Plymouth Argyle on Wednesday for my booster (4th) hope I blag as well as last time!
