Good evening to all of my fellow and fellowette forum users. I just wanted to say that I hope you have all had a very Merry Christmas Day, and that you have all managed to stay off of the naughty step long enough for Father Christmas to have paid you an unnoticed visit overnight, leaving plenty of gifts for you and your loved ones.
Stay safe, take care, try not to over-indulge (I may have failed on this last point!), be kind to yourselves and keep on smiling.

Hey @Jimbo165 Yes, I have stayed off the naughty step, an advantage of living in a flat.
Yes, you failed miserably on the last point, but I am still smiling, a bit like Garfield, but my gnashers are not that good.

Oh @Toadmum I have really appreciated your updates and I have learnt so much from you, thank you.
I think that you have also shown that we all come from different backgrounds, perhaps have different diagnosis and relationships, but the similarities are often our fears, our all over the place thoughts and emotions and practicalities. Thank you.

Good afternoon @Nichola75 and everyone else, I just wanted to wish each and every one of you, your families and your supporters, the happiest of New Year’s for later on this evening.
I have now finished work for 2024, but will be back on Thursday, shoulder to the wheel, nose to the grindstone, backs to the wall, and any other contortionistic phrases that may spring to mind. Reading the above sentence may possibly go some way to explaining my occasional backache! 
I am so happy that I found this forum a number of years ago, as I find it a great source of comfort as well as knowledge. The breadth of other users experiences and wisdom are a great help.
If the weather forecasters are to be believed, it is time to batten down the hatches in readiness for later.
Take care all, stay safe, be kind to yourselves, keep on smiling and I’ll be back in 2025.

Oh @Jimbo165 aren’t we lucky to have our forum and it has really enriched my circle of like minded people that I have learnt so much from and I can be really honest with.
Another advantage is @Nichola75 that I have already got into my Christmas, bright red, Mickey Mouse PJ’s.
I fear that I will not be able to stay awake till midnight, I am too cosy, but I shall nod off smiling.
Let’s see what 2025 brings. xx

Dear @Erica, we are indeed to have this wonderful forum, with its amazing contributors, so easily available. The comfort and support that is here for us is worth its weight in gold at times.
Sadly I have given up on this year now, and today in particular, having been up since 4am, and have made it to bed where I’m hoping (bah humbug!) that the strong winds (outside, not mine!!) will stop the firework brigade from letting rip tonight.
Please take care and enjoy your smiley sleep and I’ll be in touch next year now.
