Covid, Flu & Childhood Vaccinations required, where to start?

Hi @Paula1, so good to hear from you. I’m glad you are ok. Congrats on being a nana, lovely name. Sorry about your mother in law, I hope she is ok. Hubby still on trial and fortnightly treatment. He still had bad fatigue and was having to have afternoon naps, which he hated. I read somewhere about lenolidamide and to take it at night. Hubby has always taken it in the morning as he wasn’t told otherwise. A month ago he started taking it at night and it has improved his sleep and hardly any fatigue now. It just shows you minor tweaks can help!
I hope you are looking after yourself and not working too hard!! You have to be kind to yourself. Fingers crossed the paraproteins slow down and don’t become an issue. How do you feel in yourself??
A few people who are in front of hubby having treatment have just gone onto monthly treatment, so I’m sure he may get asked if he wants to do the same. He will have to way up the pros & cons I suppose. Less hospital visits, but less checks etc. Make sure you try and get some sort of holiday or break, it’s what your body needs & deserves.
Hi to @2DB , @Erica , hope you lovely ladies are doing ok, sending virtual hugs to you all. Take care..xx

Hiya
Yes I take my Lenelidomide at night much better.
My oara proteins came down to 1.6 so happy with that. They have spoke to me about having treatment monthly instead of fortnightly. I think that is from cycle 9 but I do like being monitored fortnightly so not sure what to do.
Hello @2DB & @Erica hope your both well xx

Hi @Paula1 fortnightly or monthly, take time to think about it and perhaps be really honest about your feelings with you specialist nurse or medical team.
I remember having feelings of being abandoned in similar circumstances, whereas I could have looked at it as promotion ???
All’s well here, thanks.
Please do let us know how you get on and really look after yourself.

Hi @Paula1 and @Olivia
I’m doing ok thank you I’m celebrating 3 years post Stem cell transplant today and I have a consultant app tomorrow before Zometa and dara Friday
I started duloxetine for neuropathy and it’s doing a good job of keeping the pain to a very bare minimum it’s also helping with my mood too
I didn’t realise I was putting up with pain like you do
It wasn’t until I started at the same time having co codamol when needed that it was actually nice not to have pain.
I’m good at advising everyone else except myself
Good to hear you guys are doing good long may we all stay this way for a while
@Erica hope your doing well
Hugs all round

Really look after yourself, I find medical appointments exhausting.
