I have Essential thrombocythemia (ET) and I am thinking about having some holidays. I’m wondering what the best company would be for a fair price annual policy. Do any of you have any recommendations.

Do shop around and perhaps it is always worth being honest just in case you have to claim

Hi @Erica . Thanks for the link. I would never dream of being anything but honest in any situation. The point of insurance is to be covered in the event of an emergency, so anything other than full disclosure would only render the policy void. With the cost of all insurance being hiked up this year I think the input of the seasoned travellers on here might be useful. I haven’t had holiday insurance since before my diagnosis. I did get one quote last year which was over £400, so we didn’t bother with the holidays.
