Lenalidamide

I recently started this chemo drug but had a very strange reaction to it (odd rash on my legs). Currently my chemo suspended but a lump in my groin is now getting bigger. The team are deciding the cost/benefit of restarting treatment and I have to have another PET scan and biopsy.

I have Non Hodgkins Lymphoma which keeps transforming to Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).

Has anyone else had experience of this drug and side effects?

Hi @Penny1,
I hope you are doing okay today? Like many other chemotherapies lenalidomide also can cause skin reactions and rashes. Can I ask Penny have you been able to let your team know about your rash?
Sometimes these side effects do settle down on their own or sometimes you might require treatment such as an anti histamine or topical ointment to help. You treatment team or clinical nurse specialist should be able to advise you on the best next step for this.
It sounds like you’re going through a really tough time right now so please do know if you ever need to talk things through our support line is always here for you 0808 2080 888.
