Hi @MoMo, it’s understandable you would be struggling with the region rise of covid cases. It’s important you do what you feel comfortable with and take as much precautions to minimise risks. We have a really webpage which will be helpful about minimizing risk and understanding your level of risk here: Coping with risk and uncertainty as lockdown eases | Blood Cancer UK.
@Bav.BloodCancerUK
Hi Bav, thank you for your response to my ramblings. And thank you for the links, which I have read as well, and they are helpful. It’s hard when I am in charge of risk assessments for my work and the people I deal with don’t know about my illness or know but don’t understand my dilemma as I don’t know if vaccine is giving me any protection. It seems that since I’m doing some face-to-face work, I should be happily do all of it… and now that the cases go up daily and I know cases where people have taken all the precautions and still caught this new variant of covid, it just seems crazy that localised shielding or other advise hasn’t been put in place.
Anyway… it is what it is and one has to try get on with things.
Hi @MoMo you have just said my son’s favourite saying ‘it is what it is’, it’s so true and I can understand your extra work dilemmas.
Please keep posting what is going on with you.
Hi @BobK99 perhaps at the clinic later this month is your opportunity to really get all your questions answered and agree the way forward.
