Hi all! I’m a 29 year old F. I found a lump in my neck a few months ago, along with some other weird symptoms like thinning hair, fatigue, swollen neck but no sickness, and random moodiness.
I went to urgent care a few weeks ago and he seemed concerned so he referred me to do an ultrasound. They did it and the radiologist said “it’s probably a lymph node” lol. Not helpful.
Recently found another lump behind my ear. Went back to a different urgent care and the doc said if it were him, he’d push my primary care to order a biopsy because it’s strange there are multiple lumps and not going away.
I have a PCP scheduled for March because it’s the earliest I could get. Should I be asking them to schedule a biopsy sooner? I can’t get it off my mind and i don’t know what I’m feeling in my neck but it feels like tiny lumps all over honestly.
Oh @Mflomin It shows how anxious you are as you have joined our forum.
Isn’t it difficult when your symptoms might be nothing or so many conditions that might or might not need treatment.
Do you feel it would help your anxiety to see your GP and have a good chat about your anxieties, questions and practicalities.
I find it is the unknown and waiting that is so anxious making, but unfortunately I have found there is a lot of waiting around.

Please do let us know how you get on and be very kind to yourself
Welcome to our forum although I am sorry for the reasons that have bought you here. It is understandable that you are concerned.
Given you have posted here, I suspect that you are worried about blood cancer and in view of your recent ultrasound, I would suggest that you go back to your doctor for further investigations and not wait until March. I have enclosed a useful link here from our website on the signs and symptoms of Blood Cancer. It includes information on the questions to ask your doctor when you are worried and further tests that might need to be done including a lymph node biopsy. Blood Cancer Signs and Symptoms It is important to remember @Mflomin that most people who have symptoms described on this page won’t have blood cancer. But it’s important to find out what’s causing them.
If you would like to talk things through with us or if we can support you in any way, please feel free to contact the support services nurses on 0808 2080 888.
