Good morning everybody.
So, after arriving at the dentist, to be called as I parked and told it was cancelled, my words for today are……

  1. Frustration
  2. Breathe
Looking forward to hearing your choices!

@Nichola75 I hope that you trashed the dentists in true rock and roll style
For Breathing, the Queen of music, Kate Bush with Breathing,

As for Frustration, had to dig a bit for a song an ex barmaid used to sing at cleaning time at the end of the night… Soft Cell Frustration.

Oh, how frustrating, @Nichola75, but at least you’ve put the experience to good use in inspiring the Friday Forum Jukebox Club for today!

I still can’t post links, frustratingly, but my suggestions are both Mika songs: for frustration, Good Wife and for breathe, Underwater.

Happy weekend to everyone!

Well attempted a week’s camping in N Devon last week but we were defeated by the strong winds after 2 days and came home! At least I got to watch all the news re our new Labour Government in comfort on our home TV. So my suggested words for this week are WIND and RED

Wind Beneath my Wings - Gladys Knight & The Pips version

99 Red Balloons by Nena

Good luck to England :england: on Sunday!!

Hi@CaroleCW,

Thank you for choosing this week’s words:

For Wind I have chosen Bob Dylan’s Hurricane:

And for Red, Chris de Burgh’s Lady in Red:

I am currently between scans at the local hospital. Had to kill two hours…
Actually spent a lot of it reading posts on the forum

Best wishes
Helen

Hi Carole
Great words and I am sorry about the weather for camping, a good idea to come home I say.

WIND - Elton John - Candle in the wind - Candle in the Wind - Elton John (youtube.com)

Hi, @CaroleCW! Sorry about the bad camping weather! My choice for wind was also going to be Elton John’s Candle in the Wind, but Erica beat me to it, so I’ll suggest instead the folk song Blow the Wind Southerly.

For red, the tune that I can’t get out of my head now is The Drifters’ You’re More Than a Number in My Little Red Book.
