Ok every one is taking lots of protection and large hats for the weather or hiding in a pub somewhere
Ok seeing today I was in court dealing with the tail end of my divorce, my first word is RELATIONSHIPS and given the sporting lot are all in Paris, the second word is METALS.
First is the wonderful Alicia Keys with “If I ain’t got you”

Second is Sting with “Fields of gold”

Great word choices. Keeping me occupied this afternoon. We are due to leave Greece this evening. Just waiting around - I hate late flights, will not be doing it again!
For relationships I have ……

And for
Metals ……

@Erica @Duncan to be honest, this is the real cost of cancer, not money, homes, lifestyles, health, but the connection to those who love you and who you love, when it goes undiagnosed for so long. I can live without the rest, this is proving to be hard to live without.
Guess that is why we need to keep raising awareness, especially of our rarer cancers, so the medical profession join up the dots faster.

For dreams, is it too obvious to choose ‘All I have to do is dream’ by the Everly Brothers? It’s going to be stuck in my head for hours now!

And for sleep, ‘The lion sleeps tonight’ by so many people over the years. Another one that gets into your head and won’t go away!

Thank you, @clickinhistory! You joke about the video of the @BloodCancerUK-SupportTeam dancing and singing to ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’, but don’t think I wasn’t tempted to try to find a way to upload the UN Nairobi choir mauling - sorry, singing - it! It was one of our favourites. We used to sing lots of songs in more languages than you could throw a conductor’s baton at, and when the weather was nice we used to rehearse under the trees on the UN compound, much to the bemusement of the monkeys :monkey:. When there were big events on with VVIPs in attendance, we would be brought out like performing bears, but we weren’t very good - we really just did it for the fun of it. Just as well I’m not trusted enough here to upload links! :grinning:

@JanetF such a shame the choir’s YouTube channel only has Michael Bolton lyrics, after your build up, I was looking forward to seeing the performances

We have a YouTube channel, @clickinhistory? :hushed: I had no idea! And I’m still a signatory for the choir, despite having retired! Not that we have sung much for a while, but you’ve had a close shave there, believe me! The likes of the Pope, presidents, royalty and so on have never been the same after being forcibly exposed to our renditions of many previously popular songs!
