The Friday Forum Jukebox Club!

My thoughts

MISSING - Eric Clapton - Miss you - Eric Clapton- Miss You (youtube.com)

UPSET - Bonnie Tyler - Tears - Bonnie Tyler - Tears (Visualiser) (youtube.com)

Now it’s past my bedtime

Hi, @Erica! Yes, I was wondering if somehow Friday had gone missing yesterday until you popped up with the Friday Forum Jukebox Club and it became clear that I wasn’t the only person thinking it was Friday!

For ‘missing’, my inner-brain singer (which somehow sings so much better than my actual voice) immediately started singing Cliff’s Miss You Nights, but for ‘upset’, I had to give it a little thought before plumping for Hurts by Mika.

Yet another opportunity to proselytise for my two all-time favourite male singers!

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend!

Hi, @clickinhistory! That sounds a miserable mixture (what you said, not your choice of songs!). I hope you’ll be feeling better and brighter soon.

It is Friday? Yes it is! Time for some music. I want to share my good mood so how about some JOY and also it feels strange to be feeling optimistic so how about something WEIRD :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Weird Fishes / Arpeggi by Radiohead: https://youtu.be/TNRCvG9YtYI?feature=shared

Aww Roberta Flack, so great @Erica :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

And oh my, that Genesis video with the Spitting Image Maggie and Ronnie dolls, how weirdly apt considering the changes in power occurring here and there!

Weird

Ha ha ha @BobK99 you picked up on my theme! For what it’s worth, the mood here really has shifted since Harris and Walz, er, waltzed in to save the day :face_exhaling:

Time goes too quickly and I don’t think we even managed some words last Friday :grinning: Anyway as I was out at the crack of dawn today for my first of the day appointment at hospital for usual blood tests - which I prefer to a last appointment of the day - how about First and Last for todays words :grinning:
