The Friday Forum Jukebox Club!

Hi All
I find everything happens at once.
I have made decisions this week to do things that I know I will enjoy, but will really fatigue
me.
Now I am paying the price, but hey ho it was my choice.
So my words are
WORN OUT
and
WEARY
Now I will have a think of my songs.

Fix You - Coldplay
Very apt for me this week - whilst I’d love to try and fix everyone’s ailments - I’ve also along with the rest of my family spent half of my life in vain trying to get ( bucket list) tickets to their concerts next year. I wouldn’t mind we twice got to the front of the queue to be thrown out by ticket master or there to be no seats available :frowning:

I hope you have rested @Erica but had a good time doing things you loved!!!

Oh know that feeling Erica - such a fine line for all of us isn’t it of doing as much as poss to enjoy life yet paying for it after and the perimeters of what’s possible change all the time too eh- take a bit of rest this week if you can and you have some nice memories of good things done last week !

So for worn out I will have my cheer me up song when I feel like that

Shine - Take That

For Weary

Bridge over troubled water - Simon and Garfunkel

(PS I’ve fixed my last post, made in a post-operative - a 2nd one - [nothing to do with Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL)] stupor!)

So - I’ll jump in this morning!
I’ve had a very busy week which has resulted in a migraine. Feeling sorry for myself and really missing my daughter who is now at Leeds uni.
My words are….

Thumping and independence.

Happy Friday everybody!

So sorry @Nichola75. I really sympathise. Migraines are awful.

My song choices are HURTS by Emeli Sandé and for Independence, THIS IS ME from The Greatest Showman.

I hope you soon recover. Warm wishes, Willow x

Oh @Nichola75
So sorry to hear about the nasty migraine, perhaps a lie down in a darkened room and I bet you are really missing your daughter, I reckon feeling sorry for yourself is definitely in order.
Sending you hugs xxx
