So handsome @Jules. Think I’d want to go walkies with Harry too, treatment or not!

Sorry to read it’s still too hot for you @Leigh65, I really can empathise with how grim it can feel. We’ve been fortunate to avoid the heatwaves going on elsewhere. Is it any cooler by the sea? Sometimes on grim days here I’ll head to the coast to be blasted by the oceanic breeze!

As for our little chap, pretty sure we’re leaning towards Rusty. His cheeky personality is emerging and he is hilarious—my face aches from laughing at his antics! Rufus is a great name, and I’m sure you’ll know when and if the time is right :dog:

Oh @Duncan Rusty sounds good to me.

Aw glad you approve @Erica! Thankfully he responds to any kind of cutesy baby talk so we could call him anything really :joy:

Oh @Duncan I am just sitting here laughing at you ‘cutesy baby talking’ '‘he who must not be named’,
Perhaps remember it is best to be a name that you are happy to call out in public on your stunning walks.

Totally agree @Erica. I was amused recently to hear someone calling out numerous times to their dog ‘Pringle’ who didn’t seem to want to come when called!! Willow x

Hahaha yes indeed @Erica! We could whisper sweet nothings full of delicate expletives and he’d probably still respond well!

Thanks @Willow, isn’t he a cutie?! He’s currently asleep on my legs so sadly I have to relax for a while longer, oh dear

But we have his first hike planned for later up in the redwoods, now we know how good he is on his lead. Very excited to introduce him to the first park I ventured out to here :mountain::evergreen_tree::dog:
