Hmmmmm, din’t know what’s happening with my post.
Count myself lucky with effects of Covid. Assume it was Omicron.
No access to anti virals.
Went for a shortish walk today which energised me. Have been doing a fair amount, perhaps should be rating more.
Have now had fourth jab.

Whoops, resting not rating!
Hi @patmroberts I don’t believe it what bad luck to catch Covid on your first time visiting family in 2 1/2 yrs.
That definitely was a surprise xmas ‘gift’.
Thanks for letting us know your experiences of Covid.
I always find that there is so much to do when I (used) to return from a holiday, clothes to wash, things to put away, food to sort out, post to deal with etc, etc.
I loose all the goodness from my holiday and I am worn out again and that is without adding jet lag into the mix.
I find a shortish walk often does me good too.
Yes, be kind to yourself and please keep letting us know how you are doing.
I can imagine that wasn’t a surprise you wanted! I’m glad you are home safely and are starting to feel better. When will you get the chance to see your family again? Hopefully this time with no surprises!
The Omicron variant is said to be the most concerning variant in the coronavirus. Like other variations, the Omicron variant comprises a variety of lineages and sublineages. Omicron presently has three main bloodlines: BA.1, BA.1.1, and BA.2.
